Did you know that the average cost of raising a child from birth to the age of 21 has risen to £230,000? Suffice to say that children are expensive things, and since having Max I’ve noticed that it's increasingly difficult to save money – money is tighter than ever! Last week I had the loveliest day. It was a completely normal day – it was Thursday, the one day of the week when I have Max all to myself with no activities planned. The Garden in March

Although I've been out in the garden a fair bit in February, it feels like we've hit March and we're still on the cusp of spring officially arriving. I shared my big plans for the garden this year in last month's post, but most of my progress in February has been maintenance and preparation for the coming season, rather than having the joy of anything really blooming yet or seeing any huge accomplishments.
