Sharing the Blog Love – Showcase 41

A big welcome to our weekly #SharingtheBlogLove Blogger Showcase!

If you’re new to #SharingtheBlogLove, these are mine and Laura’s favourite posts from last week’s linky. As part of the linky we’d like you to choose one post from each showcase post (one from mine and one from Laura’s) to head over to and leave a comment to show them some extra blog love. It’s always lovely to take a look at our featured posts this week and see how many extra comments they’ve had from you guys!

Mummy Miller

Buying your child their first pair of shoes is such a huge milestone for any parent. I remember buying Max’s so well – we waited ages to do it, and I do remember lots of family being surprised that we’d not bought him a pair earlier. But little babies don’t need shoes at all, and it’s so much better for their feet to allow them to walk in barefoot while they’re learning. I loved Louise’s post, When Should I Be Buying Baby Shoes, as it brought it all back!

Mommy and Rory

I love an Instagram post, and I think like most bloggers, my Instagram feed has changed and developed the longer I’ve been posting. I loved Becky’s post, Picture Perfect, which reflects on how her Instagram feed has changed since becoming a blogger – I think it’s something we can all relate to. One of the best pieces of advice I’ve had regarding capturing family life on camera is not to forget about the everyday moments, the little details, all those things which can seem mundane and not ‘capture-worthy’. Do head over and have a read!

Organised Jo

Sticking with the Instagram theme, I love how Instagram feeds track the seasons – it’s given me a renewed appreciation for the arrival of each season. Spring in particular is so full of new beginnings, beautiful colours, and so many joyous things happening in nature. I loved Jo’s Top 5 Instagram Pictures in March – such a lovely spring round-up, and so much to love. If you’re not already following Jo on Instagram, do head over and check out her feed – it’s beautiful!

Little Ladies Big World

I’ve loved reading Laura’s series on their family break in France – a real time to connect as a family, to switch off from the usual stresses of family life, and to enjoy all those little things that make up a childhood. Their French Adventure – Week 3 is crammed full of beautiful photos and gorgeous, simple, family moments – both happy and sad. This is a post that will have you craving a family holiday immediately!

Did you catch any of these last time? If not, please head over and give them a read and a comment!
