Sharing the Blog Love – Showcase #65

A big welcome to our weekly #SharingtheBlogLove Showcase. I hope you enjoy our featured posts here and find some great new blogs to follow along the way.

If you’re new to #SharingtheBlogLove, these are mine and Laura’s favourite posts from last week’s linky. As part of the linky we’d like you to choose one post from each showcase post (one from mine and one from Laura’s) to head over to and leave a comment to show them some extra blog love. It’s always lovely to take a look at our featured posts this week and see how many extra comments they’ve had from you guys!

Bell from Bow

As much as I enjoy autumn, I’m definitely a summer girl at heart, and the clocks going back is always a real turning point for me. Suddenly with the dark evenings I find it hard to find so many things to love about the changing of the seasons. So Celine’s post Winter is Coming was the perfect read for me – a realistic take on why winter is rubbish when you’re a parent (with a few positives thrown in for balance)

Adventures with J

I’ve waited a long time for Max to start talking, so I really relish all the little phrases he’s now coming out with. I loved Laura’s post, The World According to J, which is such a sweet snapshot of her son at aged 2 and 3/4. The little phrases they pick up first are always the ones that are the centre of their lives, that really pinpoint who they are and the things and people they love.

Me Becoming Mum

Oh, I do love to go pumpkin picking! I love that it seems to have really taken off this year, with pretty much every family in the country heading to a pumpkin patch to pick theirs. I loved this post from Me Becoming Mum on their trip to Hilltop Farm to go pumpkin picking – there are so many little touches that made the trip that little bit more special than ‘just’ pumpkin picking – a trail, scarecrows, and birds of prey!

Mrs Mummy Harris

I think so often it’s only the negative stories that you read – the tragic news stories, the struggles people are having – and so it’s lovely to read a post that is full of positive and just reaffirms your faith in humanity. I loved In A World of Darkness, Kindness Still Prevails – a post full of tales of random acts of kindness that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. If you’re having a bad day, go read this now!

Did you catch any of these last time? If not, please head over and give them a read and a comment!
