You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth – Kahlil Gibran   This weekend we took Max out for the first time on his scooter to a big open parkland near us with a great track for kids bikes and scooters. I can't say it was an all round success - at first he flat out refused to scoot, or wear his helmet. After lots of convincing, we persuaded him to get on the scooter and before we knew it he was off! Still needs to get the hang of steering mind you! Now he's realised that scooting is fun, next time he'll have to wear the helmet!

It's a garden that was almost designed with Max in mind - so many paths with plants spilling across them. Max loved pushing his way through and exploring!
