A big welcome to our 16th week of #SharingtheBlogLove and our weekly Blogger Showcase!
If you’re new to #SharingtheBlogLove, these are mine and Laura’s favourite posts from last week’s linky. We love that each week we can choose a few favourites for you all to read, comment and show a bit of extra love!
Quite Frankly She Said
I remember when I first became a mum - those first few hours in hospital, just looking down at my little baby in wonder, thinking how surreal this all was. And the surreal feeling is one that has continued on and off, so I could really relate to Sian’s post, Realising that I am a ‘Real Mum’. The feeling of winging it, of being a bit of a fraud, feeling like you’re struggling while all the other ‘real mums’ are racing off ahead of you. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like this a lot of the time - do head over and have a read if you think this is you too!
Innocent Charms Chats
I love a bit of an upcycle, and I’m a huge sucker for yellow, so I loved this upcycle of a TV Display cabinet from Kara. I love the bold mustard colour combined with the funky wallpaper to line the inside - the blue just offsets the yellow perfectly. A really inspirational read for anyone with the upcycling bug!
Twin Pickle
I have to admit I’m not in any way a funny blogger, but I do love a post that puts a smile on my face. A Scheduled C-Section and a Trip to the Movies was just that - a really funny look at a C-section birth story, with numerous film analogies along the way. Just brilliant!
This is me now
Do you let your toddler watch TV? I was quite strict on TV when we started out, but now I have to admit that Max definitely has favourite TV programmes and Peppa tops that list. I could definitely relate to Susie’s post, Embracing Peppa Pig - there’s something about that squeaky, annoying pig that just draws toddlers in, and you just can’t knock it when it gives you a break for 10 minutes of the day.
Did you catch any of these last week? If not, please head over and give them a read and a comment!
