A big welcome to week 24 of #SharingtheBlogLove! I love running this linky with my lovely friend Laura at Dear Bear and Beany. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us last week and thank you for joining us again! Isn't it feeling Christmassy all of a sudden? We put our tree up last weekend and it just feels like Christmas is right around the corner now. I still have a few presents to buy though - must sort that this week and then it's wrapping time! I've loved reading all of your Christmas themed posts too - they've definitely got me in the Christmas mood!   But, on with the linky!   What's #SharingtheBlogLove all about? A big welcome to our 24th week of #SharingtheBlogLove and our weekly Blogger Showcase! If you're new to #SharingtheBlogLove, these are mine and Laura's favourite posts from last week's linky. As part of the linky we'd like you to choose one post from each showcase post to head over and leave a comment to show them some extra blog love.   Tooting Mama I have a fairly relaxed approach to gender specific toys - Max loves his toy trains and cars, but is also a huge fan of his tea set and play kitchen. I'm happy for him to play with whatever takes his fancy, but I do think it's important that our children have the chance to play with a variety of toys, not just ...

A magical world of Rainforests - The Eden Project

The Eden Project has been somewhere we've wanted to visit as a family for a long time, but living so far away from Cornwall we've never managed to get there. So on our recent holiday to Cornwall we decided that it was finally time to put that right! I knew that Max would love the biomes and the rainforest, but I didn't expect him to ...

You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth – Kahlil Gibran   Is there anything better when you're two years old than eating chocolate in Mummy and Daddy's bed? Apparently not judging by the huge chocolatey grin on this little guy's face!

I really do love this time of year - Christmas just brings out the best in everything and it just feels like there's that touch of magic in the air. Although things are a bit of a struggle at the moment as I'm still feeling pretty ill, there's so much to enjoy about this time of year.   01. We visited Lapland UK which was everything I'd hoped it would be and more! You can read my full post on our visit, but suffice to say that I'd had some concerns about whether Max was a little bit young for it. But watching him embrace the experience was the most wonderful thing - he just completely 'got it'. He even loved meeting Father ...

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us last week and thank you for joining us again! It's been a busy week here - it's felt like everything is gearing up for Christmas all of a sudden, I've got the Christmas music on and I'm ready to go! It was also lovely to be able to share with everyone our baby news - it's been so difficult keeping it a secret for so long! I really am a terrible secret keeper!   But, good news aside, on with the linky!   What's #SharingtheBlogLove all about? If you are new to Sharing the Blog Love ...
