One of my biggest tasks in preparing for the new baby has been retrieving all of the old baby clothes from the loft and sorting through everything. It’s been a pretty mammoth task and has made me realise just how many clothes we have, in so many different sizes. So when Belo + Me got in touch to offer to send me through their wardrobe dividers and milestone cards it couldn’t have come at a better time!
Belo + Me are a small online boutique, selling a range of children’s toys, gifts, and accessories. Inspired by the Portuguese ‘Belo’, meaning ‘beautiful’, their designs are colourful and unique and I loved browsing their shop.
I’d not come across wardrobe dividers before, but for baby clothes, where you have so many different sizes in a short space of time, they’re an amazing invention. I have to admit that I love organising, and I love seeing all of the baby clothes lined up, washed and ready to be worn. Unlike storing everything in drawers, a wardrobe makes it so much easier to see what options you have available at a glance and to make sure all of those beautiful clothes get worn before your baby is too big for them. For a second baby, where you already have a huge selection of clothes, it’s even more useful – it allows you to see clearly where you don’t seem to have enough of a size, and to keep all those different sizes separate. If you’re anything like me, when you found an adorable sleepsuit, you went out and bought it in 4 different sizes, so knowing which one you’re grabbing is essential!
The wardrobe dividers come in different sets – I chose the Woodland Animals theme as I loved the cute characters. They also have a range of safari animals (with beautiful pastel colours), monochrome animals, and Aztec prints. There are 7 dividers in total, taking you from newborn all the way up to 18-24 months.
They have a good hook on them, so they stay firmly attached to the rail, and the cardboard is sturdy to ensure that they last through the 24 months you’ll be using them for. A fabulous invention for any parent looking to get organised before the baby comes.
Baby milestone cards seem to have been around for a while now, but they weren’t really a thing when Max was little, so it’s something that I missed out on first time around. I love how they encourage you to capture photos of your little one every month, and they make it so easy to record all those special milestones like the first smile, first bath, and the all important first time they sleep through. The designs on this set from Belo + Me are lovely – colourful and cute, and I know I’ll be using them a lot for baby number two!
These would make a lovely baby shower or new baby gift – they’re so simple, but so useful and a really cute present.
Belo + Me have kindly offered the opportunity for one lucky reader to win a set of milestone cards and wardrobe dividers for themselves. Simply enter via the Gleam widget below – good luck!
