You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth
– Kahlil Gibran
When it comes to key moments of childhood, is there anything bigger than meeting your younger brother for the first time?
I have to admit I was more than a bit nervous about how Max would handle a little brother, but he has been an absolute star the last couple of days and he is already so good with him - his favourite phrase is “sooo cute!”, and he is being such a great help in fetching nappies, trying to calm Ben down when he’s upset, and is (almost) managing not to shout all the time! I heard him walking down the landing this morning to our room, whispering to himself, “go see baby Ben”, and then he spent ages just staring at him in his cot. I hope baby Ben knows how lucky he is to have such an amazing big brother in his life.

I adore this photo Katy. I love the way Max is leaning on you with his arm, the look on his face and how gentle he is with his brother. I’m so pleased for you all that he has just accepted his baby brother and he will be amazing x
