You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth
– Kahlil Gibran
When we were watching TV in the week, there was a programme that involved camping - something which fascinated Max, and he asked if we could go camping. We’ve been trying to make sure that Max has lots of things that we’re doing just for him, while he adjusts to having a little brother around who takes up a lot of our time, so John went out on Saturday and bought a tent for camping in the garden that evening. Max was so excited to be camping, insisting on bring so many of his toys out to the tent with them, and I could still hear him chattering away at gone 9pm!
I love this shot of him enjoying his hot chocolate. Perhaps not the best photo I’ve ever taken, but a perfect capture of his first camping experience.

What a fab idea!! Hope they had fun! I might suggest it to hubby for us to try as its H’s bedtimes that are taking a hit with Baby B’s arrival X

We did the same for our little girl last year and she loved it. I’m not a camping fan so a sleepover in the garden was the perfect solution. Max looks very happy with his hot chocolate. #LivingArrows
