You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth
– Kahlil Gibran
We’ve just got back from a short trip to Cornwall and I think this photo is one of my favourites. I love a beach, especially when it gets a bit colder - there’s something about it being quieter, feeling the wind on your cheeks, and hearing the sound of the waves crashing in that makes it more beautiful for me. Max has taken a long time to warm up to the beach, but on our last two trips he’s not been able to get enough of it - his goal this time was to build a trench that went all the way to the sea, and then watch the waves fill it up. Although as you can see, he’s a bit wary of the waves still!

We love the beach anytime, just a shame we can’t get there much. Nice to see Max enjoying it
