A big welcome to our weekly #SharingtheBlogLove Blogger Showcase!
If you’re new to #SharingtheBlogLove, these are mine and Laura’s favourite posts from last week’s linky. As part of the linky we’d like you to choose one post from each showcase post (one from mine and one from Laura’s) to head over to and leave a comment to show them some extra blog love. It’s always lovely to take a look at our featured posts this week and see how many extra comments they’ve had from you guys!
Kippers and Curtains
I’m always keen to discover new places to visit and I have to admit that I’d not heard of Sheffield Park Gardens before reading Sarah’s post, Sheffield Park Gardens Review. And even if I had, I’d probably have assumed it was in Sheffield, rather than East Sussex! It looks like such a spectacular place to visit, particularly at this time of year, when the rhododendrons will be in full bloom. It sounds like there is such a lot of variety in nature to explore - I’d love to see the giant redwoods!
Little Milk Days
I really felt for Lisa reading her post, Reflux and Seeing Clearly. Having watched my sister and her children suffer with reflux, and now being fairly convinced that Max suffered with it too, I know how difficult a struggle it can be. And even more so when you think you understand how to handle it, but suddenly find the rug pulled from under your feet.
Winnettes
I think it’s so important to have hobbies and interests as a parent, outside of your children. But I’ve definitely found that so many of my interests have changed since the pre-children days. I loved Kirsty’s post, Hobbies and Activities - The Things I Enjoy That Are Different Now - there were so many things I could relate to. Honestly, if you’d told me a few years ago that I’d now enjoy visiting National Trust properties, I’d probably have laughed in your face! But it’s now one of my favourite ways to spend the weekend.
Carolina Twin Mom
I probably have sibling relationships on my mind a lot at the moment, given that I’m about to turn Max’s world upside down by adding a little brother! I found Mary’s post on Sibling Competition a really interesting read. Growing up, I never felt particularly competitive with my sister, perhaps because we are very different personalities and had very different interests, but I found it really interesting to read about ways to handle competitiveness between siblings.
Did you catch any of these last time? If not, please head over and give them a read and a comment!
