Organised Jo

I’ve been desperate to get a dog for so long, but it’s never really been the right time. But I feel that time is gradually approaching, and I’m bookmarking Jo’s post on What You Need to Welcome a New Puppy into Your Home. It’s such a useful checklist, as well as loads of gorgeous photos of her adorable black lab puppy, Monty.

 

Bubbablue and Me

I used to hate school swimming lessons. Not so much the swimming part, but the horror of getting the swimming cap on over long hair! It seems that schools are introducing swimming lessons at a younger and younger age, so Emma’s post on How to Prepare Your Child for School Swimming Lessons will be so useful. It gives a good idea of the skills that schools are aiming to teach children, and lots of great tips for how you can ensure your child is as ready as they can be.

 

Toby Goes Bananas

I found I could relate so much to Sarah’s post, Why I Won’t Be Having a Third Baby. We are definitely done at two - I never pictured myself with more than two children, and I don’t think I can face going through the lack of sleep all over again. How many children do you have, and how do you know when you’re done?

 

Meme and Harri

Another post that really brought things home to me this week. It seems like just the other month that Natalie had Alfie, but here he is 10 months old and it’s the End of Maternity Leave. Maternity leave is such a strange time in your life - the days can seem endless at times, and yet it flies by, and before you know it, it’s time to return to work. I’m determined to make the most of the time I have left on maternity leave (although whether I go back to work or not is another difficult subject right now!)
