A big welcome to our weekly #SharingtheBlogLove Showcase. I hope you enjoy our featured posts here and find some great new blogs to follow along the way.
If you’re new to #SharingtheBlogLove, these are mine and Laura’s favourite posts from last week’s linky. As part of the linky we’d like you to choose one post from each showcase post (one from mine and one from Laura’s) to head over to and leave a comment to show them some extra blog love. It’s always lovely to take a look at our featured posts this week and see how many extra comments they’ve had from you guys!
The Rhyming Mum
The Rhyming Mum is fast becoming one of my favourite reads - the poems are so spot on and always touching too. I loved this one about the many jobs of a mum. I’ve always felt that parenting is a job that combines so many others, that you really do have to be the master of all trades. I’ve certainly never had a job that’s required so many different skills, and so much multi-tasking too. I wonder if you can add to the list?
The Queen of Collage
As much as I love Christmas, wrapping is not my favourite task. I’m useless at it, so although every year I have grand visions of perfectly wrapped presents, complete with ribbons and bows, the reality is a mish-mash of different wrapping papers, hasty cobbled together with a severe lack of skill! Maybe the idea of a DIY wrapping station can help me - at least it will help me keep everything together! Check out Helena’s DIY Gift Wrap Station and get organised this Christmas.
Musings of a Tired Mummy
I’ve been wanting to visit The Lexicon shopping centre in Bracknell for ages, so it was great to finally check it out the other week, and even better to meet Laura there and put a real life face to a blogging name. I recognised her straight away from her blog photos and we both enjoyed our little Christmas shopping trip. Do head over to her post, Christmas at The Lexicon Bracknell, to read all about what they have going on this festive season - if you live in Berkshire (or Surrey, or Hampshire!), then it’s a great place to do your Christmas shopping.
The Rolling Baby
Would you park across someone’s drive? I’m not sure I know anyone who does, but judging by the regular threads that appear on Mumsnet, it happens all the time. I liked this post, Is it Ever Acceptable to Park Across Someone’s Drive, because it got me thinking, and yes - I do occasionally park over someone’s drive! Read the comments to find out why 🙂
Did you catch any of these last time? If not, please head over and give them a read and a comment!
