Last week was a bit of a struggle for me and Max. Normally our Living Arrows shots are from our outdoor adventures, but we ended up staying in for a lot of last week as I didn’t feel well enough to make many trips out. But we did make it to the opening of Little Street, a new play centre near me, which was such a fun morning out (I’ve written about it here if you fancy reading).

Max can be quite wary of new places, and is often unwilling to go off and explore on his own - something which makes soft play quite a difficult experience. I don’t want to be that mum that gets stuck in the rollers at 34 weeks pregnant! But Little Street is different, focusing on role play, encouraging children to explore and develop their imaginations. It was amazing for me to watch Max head off on his own and play so confidently with all of the different play areas. The supermarket was one of his favourites and I love the look on his face as he spotted something familiar on the shelf!
