You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth

I can’t believe I missed last week’s Living Arrows, but sadly it was a week of illness and a weekend spent at the hospital, so we just didn’t manage to get out and about and take any photos. But we’re back on it this week - there were so many photos I could have chosen for this week from our trip to Greys Court last Tuesday, but this one is one of my favourite photos I’ve taken of Max recently.

He’s absolutely obsessed with dandelion clocks at the moment - at first he loved to present me with the yellow dandelion flowers (and loved that I let him pick them, as he certainly wouldn’t be allowed to pick any other flowers), but he’s recently discovered the fun of dandelion clocks. He loves to pick them and then wave them, watching all the seeds fly everywhere! I’m sure our garden is going to be riddled with dandelions next year!

What a fab photo! There is something really fun about dandelion clocks isn’t there, I have to admit I still quite enjoy blowing on them! Hope everything is ok after last week. x #LivingArrows

Such a cute one! You can’t beat dandelion clocks, such a simple but fun game. Weirdly Holly is better than Alice, she just doesn’t have the puff to do it that well x

Hehe he looks so proud of himself that he has blown the dandelion! #LivingArrows

Oh we love Greys Court, such a nice little National trust - and he gets cuter as each week passes. I hope you’re on the mend x

Lol, waving them is so more productive than blowing them I find. I don’t recall them being so hard to blow as a child! #livingarrows

A great picture. BattleKid loves them too but insists on trying to blow them even though he can’t quite manage them. #livingarrows

Dandelion clocks are the best aren’t they? Glad you’re feeling better now, not long to go! x #LivingArrows
