Last Friday was the last day of my husband’s paternity leave, so we decided to pull Max out of nursery and head out for the day. He’d requested a trip to a ‘big garden’, so we got in the car and made the trip down to Mottisfont to see the roses in full bloom. But the absolute highlight for Max was throwing stones into this little pond in the middle of the rose garden. If that’s not a face of pure joy I don’t know what is!

    We headed to Monttisfont the weekend just gone, its my favourite! This is such a great photo, all Monkey did was stare at the pond. Its the simple things isn’t it? Such a happy little Chappy x #LivingArrows
