Sharing the Blog Love - Showcase 37

A big welcome to our weekly #SharingtheBlogLove Blogger Showcase!

If you’re new to #SharingtheBlogLove, these are mine and Laura’s favourite posts from last week’s linky. As part of the linky we’d like you to choose one post from each showcase post to head over and leave a comment to show them some extra blog love. It’s always lovely to take a look at our featured posts this week and see how many extra comments they’ve had from you guys!

Jaki Jellz

Seeing your children develop their understanding of emotions is one of those amazing things about being a parent. Max has always been quite a sensitive chap, and he’s very focused lately on when other people are sad. I loved Jaki’s story of her son doing exactly the same - her post Our Children and Their Emotions mirrored my conversation with Max so closely. It’s amazing what big emotions our children are capable of handling, and often articulating better than we can!

Winnettes

The words ‘soft play’ are enough to strike fear into even the bravest mum’s heart! And yet we all return time and time again to put ourselves through it. I loved Kirsty’s post, Soft Play is Like Labour - a spot on and funny take on it!

The Adventures of an Allergy Mummy

I’m nearly 7 months into this pregnancy and I’ve definitely been guilty of moaning about how 9 months is such a long time. But in so many ways I think we need that time to prepare and get our heads around the life changing experience that is motherhood. Imagine not knowing you were pregnant and only finding out when you went into labour! I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant is Chloe’s dramatic story and it’s such a mind blowing but inspiring one.

This is Me Now

Do you have a Gruffalo trail near you? They operate in lots of different Forestry Commission forests around the country and they’ve just launched a special Gruffalo Spotter app so that you can get a bit more interactive! We love our local one, and Susie’s post, The Gruffalo Trail at Thetford Forest, made me want to visit again soon. Although her little girl’s reaction to the size of the Gruffalo made me smile - Max was exactly the same, after being so excited about the trip for ages, the first time he saw the Gruffalo he wouldn’t go near him!

Did you catch any of these last time? If not, please head over and give them a read and a comment!
