Bubbablue and Me
I don’t know about you, but it was a long time before I shared my blog with any friends and family. I felt it was a very private thing, which is odd when you think about how open you are when you blog, but there’s something different about people you know reading it. I thought Emma’s post, Tips on Going Public with your Blog, a really interesting read - both to understand how other people have approached ‘coming out’, and how they’ve managed the process. When did you make the decision to go public? Or were you open about it right from the start?
The Mama Story
I’m not sure I remember Easter being such a big event when I was little - sure we got eggs, but I think that was about it! But I love seeing it made into more of an event in the calendar, and Sian’s Easter Trip to Forty Hall looked like such a great day out - a Mad Hatter’s arty party with wonderful characters, and an Easter egg hunt too. The photos make it look like such a well thought through event, and a bargain too at £1!
Old House in the Shires
I think that the one thing I hope for when it comes to raising children is that I can instil in them a strong sense of compassion and kindness. I truly believe that it’s such an important quality to have, and so I loved this post, How to Teach Kindness and the Build Self Esteem of our Children, from Old House in the Shires. It has some really great advice and puts it far better than I could, so do head over and have a read!
