Treasure Every Moment

 

I love reading posts from other people at the same stage of pregnancy as me, and Helen and I couldn’t be closer - we practically share a due date! I find that we share so many of the same thoughts and concerns, and it’s reassuring to know that your fears are completely normal! I loved Helen’s post, Motherhood: I am Scared, which was just such an honest look at all those fears as you prepare to add another member to your little family.

 

Lucy at Home

I think when it comes to happiness, our own outlook on life has a lot of influence. I’ll admit to being a person who leans towards being somewhat pessimistic, so I do find that I have to work to see the positives. But the difference it makes to my mindset when I actively try and do that is amazing - I find that I become a more positive person as a result. I loved Lucy’s post, How to Edit your Life and Get the Happy Back. It’s up to you what things you carry with you and what you let go, and that can have a huge impact on your happiness levels. Personally I like a good rant, and then try to move on from the negatives - the happy moments always make the best memories!

 

Organised Jo

I do love a gallery wall - they’ve been trending for a long time now and show no signs of going out of fashion. It’s just such a lovely way to make a personalised display in your home. I created one in our bedroom and I’m ashamed to admit that it took me about a year and half to plan and display - I just couldn’t quite decide on how they should all fit together. Jo’s post, How to Create a Gallery Wall with Wayfair, has some great tips for planning everything out - if you’ve ever been a bit intimidated to try it yourself, head over and have a read.

 

Daydreams of a Mum

I’m a huge fan of summer, but this post from Daydreams of a Mum really made me smile - Ah… Summer! The Daydream vs. the Reality. So often I have somewhat idealistic memories in my head of those summer picnics, or trips to the beach, and conveniently forget the reality of being chased by wasps and digging sand out of unfathomable places for weeks to come! Smashing all of those summer dreams, including camping, tennis, picnics and the beach - I’m sure this will bring a smile to your face!
