Sharing the Blog Love - Showcase #83

Welcome back to #SharingtheBlogLove! I hope you enjoyed last week’s linky and it’s lovely to see you back again this week!

If you’re new to #SharingtheBlogLove, these are mine and Laura’s favourite posts from last week’s linky. As part of the linky we’d like you to choose one post from each showcase post (one from mine and one from Laura’s) to head over to and leave a comment to show them some extra blog love. It’s always lovely to take a look at our featured posts this week and see how many extra comments they’ve had from you guys!

CubKit

If you read my blog, you’ll know how much we love to get outside and explore nature as a family. I believe it’s so important for us all to get outside in the fresh air, but even more so for children. I loved Emma’s post, Why Children Need To Grow Up Around Nature. I remember reading the government report which had found that one in nine children hadn’t set foot in a park, forest, beach, or any other natural environment in 12 months and being completely floored by it. There are so many reasons why exploring nature is so important for children, and so many different ways in which to do it.

The Nuthatch Nest

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day. However yours was, I think often it can be a bit of a low key event - maybe a lie in, cup of tea in bed, some handmade cards, and then the rest of the day tends to proceed as normal. I really enjoyed this post describing The Nuthatch Nest family’s Mother’s Day - I thought it was such a realistic and relateable description. The mixture of slight disappointment and sentimentality is what so often characterises Mother’s Day!

Back With A Bump

Do you love a unicorn? Seemingly everybody does. It’s the trend that seems to be going on and on and on, with no signs of dying out. So I found this post from Fran really refreshing - she’s definitely not a fan of them! If you need a bit of perking up, head on over, whether you’re a unicorn fan or not!

Digital Motherhood

Let’s face it, we’re all bloggers, so we love a bit of naval gazing! I guarantee you’ll relate to Sarah’s post, You Know You’re A Blogger When…, whether you’re only a month into blogging, or 5 years down the line. I think I ticked all but one on the list - how many can you check off?

Did you catch any of these last time? If not, please head over and give them a read and a comment.
