JoJo Maman Bebe have to be one of my favourite children’s clothing brands, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to have a sneak peek at their Autumn / Winter 2017 range this week. They’re known for their bright, fun, colourful prints, which are right up my street, and they’ve definitely continued this theme with their AW17 collection.

The first thing to really catch my eye was the amount of fox themed clothing - if you’re a fan of a fox print (and I know I’m not alone in my love of foxes) then you definitely won’t be disappointed. Whether you have a baby or a toddler, there are lots of different fox options for you - a fox sleepsuit with matching hat and bib, fox hoodies, even a fox print romper.

 

 

The collection also features the classic boy wardrobe staples of tractors and dinosaurs. Much as I try not to play to gender stereotypes, Max is always drawn to anything transport or dinosaur themed and I know these will be a big hit with him. I loved this dinosaur applique hoody - I can just see Max in that come autumn.

 

 

I loved the interactive element that had been worked into so many of the clothes - lift the flap type things where you could open a dinosaur’s mouth to reveal him roaring, or a tiny pocket with a little stuffed mouse hiding inside. Little touches which really bring an outfit to life.

As you’d expect, there are lots of traditional classics like dungarees in the autumn tones of deep red, but also bright yellow, which I loved.

 

 

And I also had the opportunity to create a little room name plaque for Max - how cute is this space rocket themed plaque to go on his door? Once we’ve decided on a name for the baby I think we need to make one of these for him too!
